Saka Dawa_event_2014The special summer event program during the holy Tibetan month of Saka Dawa will have five venerable monks from our head Sera Jey Monastery in India.

We have the following special programs all through to June and July.

 

SAKA DAWA

The four venerable monks from Sera Jey Monastery will lead the events. Venerable Bise Rinpoche to preside in all the events.

LAMA CHOEPA GURU PUJA

Venerable Bise Rinpoche and three accompanying monks will lead Lama Choepa Guru Puja, a special prayer service dedicated to world peace.

HIS HOLINESS THE DALAI LAMA'S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

The Center will celebrate HH The Dalai Lama's birthday through special prayer service in the morning and ritual performances in the afternoon.

Venerable Bise Rinpoche and his group will lead the event.

Everyone is welcome.

Date: Sunday, July 6th

Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 noon

5:00 pm - 7:30 pm

 

UNIVERSAL PRAYER DAY

On this special, Bise Rinpoche and group will lead a special prayer service for the entire day dedicated toward world peace and harmony. We suggest everyone to bring your own rosary or prayer beats for the event. If you have prayer flag, you can bring it to display during the event.

CHOKOR DUCHEN / BUDDHA'S 1st TEACHING ANNIVERSARY

On this special day, Bise Rinpoche will give talk on Buddhism to our member and the general public to commemorate Buddha Shakyamuni's first public teaching in India over 2500 years ago.

Everyone is welcome.

Date: Thursday, July 31,

Time: 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
