 Sera Jey Buddhist Culture Center is a 501 (C) (3) not-for-profit religious and cultural organization established in New York in 2009. The Center functions as an official branch of Sera Jey Monastic University of India in the United States. The Center is dedicated to the preservation and fostering of Tibet's unique Buddhist cultural and spiritual tradition to the Tibetan community and the general public.  In furtherance of these spiritual purposes, the Center may:

  1. Provide and make available to the Tibetan community and the general public a wide range of programs on Buddhism, Tibetan Buddhist culture, Tibetan language and meditation instruction;
  2. Organize religious services, cultural performances, religious ceremonies for the Tibetan community and the general public;
  3. Organize public events, interfaith services, public talk, dialogue with different religious faiths and exchange programs with educational and academic institutions in the United States and internationally;
  4. Engage in charitable activities in support of Sera Jey Monastic University and Tibetan refugee community in India.
